Evaluative Language in Electronic Product Reviews

Tato práce bude zaměřena na ohodnocení jazyka v recenzích mobilních telefonů. K tomuto účelu bude použita recenze Apple iPhone 7. Apple má širokou nabídku produktů, jmenujme počítače, tablety, hodinky nebo mp3 přehrávače. Mobilní telefony jsou ale jedním z nejpopulárnějších produktů. Z tohoto důvodu, jsou recenze mobilních telefonů perfektním zdrojem pro tuto tezi. Účel této práce je analyzovat a demonstrovat prostředky ohodnocení jazyka v reklamní mluvě a odhalení strategií a jazykových prostředků použitých k ovlivnění čtenáře, při apelování na city, morálku a estetiku chápání. Předpokládám, že recenze jsou zaujaté díky použité formě jazyka, která může obsahovat osobní názory autora nebo metody manupulace se čtenářem. Tyto metody mohou být použity při stylizaci textu, mohou apelovat na emoce nebo sociální zázemí čtenáře nebo mohuu být použity při rozhodování o tom zda a jaké informace v recenzi poskytnout. Tato teze ověří, zda je tato hypotéza platná.

The Effect of Control on the Evaluation and Motivation of Employees

This work is focused on motivating and evaluating employees in a gastro company, analysis of these activities and their effect on staff behavior to corporate finance and property in general. The first part describes theoretical background issues, basic concepts and their relationships. Then where is the problem thoroughly analyzed and practical examples of problems and their current solution are included. After this comprehensive introduction to the topic, new solution will be proposed, which would have the maximum possible effect through theoretical knowledge, logical reasoning, and ultimately practical experience and analytical calculations.

Dealing with Gender-based violence at Universities : an example from the Faculty of Law of Charles University

This thesis deals with the issue of addressing gender-based violence in the academic environment at the institutional level as an emerging agenda of university administration. Gender-based violence takes various forms, ranging from normalized verbal expressions based on gender stereotypes (psychological violence), gender-based discrimination (economic violence), sexual harassment to sexual coercion or rape (sexualized violence). As such, gender-based violence constitutes an obstacle to the fulfilment of the functions of universities and has an increased negative impact on access to education for marginalised groups of students. Using a case study method, this paper examines what solutions to gender-based violence have been adopted at the Faculty of Law of Charles University as of June 2022 and how the institutional solutions are reflected by those involved in their development. The theoretical contribution of the analysis of the process of institutional norm creation through the perspective of socio-legal studies and feminist critique of law lies in the identification of several types of resistances to fulfilling the obligation to create a safe learning and working environment by regulating gender-based violence as a type of undesirable social behaviour through internal regulations. Domestic violence and its prevention My Master's degree thesis is titled "Domestic violence and its prevention". The purpose of my thesis is to present the domestic violence as an important phenomenon which our society contends with. The domestic violence represents a problem which has an essential influence on its victims, it causes substantial effects on their private live, family relationships and also their health. The thesis is composed of eleven chapters, each of them is subdivided into several subchapters. Opening chapters deal with the criminological aspects of the domestic violence, subsequent chapters concern the legal matters regarding the domestic violence. Final chapters attend to the prevention of the domestic violence and analyze the occurrence of the domestic violence in the Czech Republic. Chapter One is introductory and raises basic issues connected with the topic of the domestic violence. The chapter is subdivided into eight subchapters which define the term of the domestic violence, name its signs and tokens, distinguish between particular types and varieties of the domestic violence, describe the domestic violence as a dynamic phenomenon and declare the causes of this phenomenon. Práce se zabývá tématem zajišťování výnosů pocházejících z trestného činu praní špinavých peněz. Problémem postihování pachatelů v těchto případech je nutnost prokázání nezákonného původu majetkového prospěchu orgány činnými v trestním řízení. Některé evropské země (zejména Německo a Nizozemí) proto do své právní úpravy zavedly ustanovení přispívající k ulehčení důkazního břemene a k usnadnění postupů orgánů činných v trestním řízení v těchto případech. Práce zkoumá míru důkazního ulehčení v právních řádech vybraných evropských zemí ve vztahu k trestnému činu praní špinavých peněz a další opatření, která tyto státy zavádějí ve snaze o efektivnější a účinnější postihování těchto trestných činů.
